Eco Safari Camp Reserve - One Million Acre Wilderness Sanctuary

Main Campground -  $15 per person per night.

Main campground fees entitle you all around homestead, out to our gates approximately 5 Km from the main campground.


Comfortable African Style Safari Tent accommodation is also available - $80 Per night (2 people, bedding and linen supplied)

Luxury, Roomy, African Style, Safari Tent accommodation with Queen Bed and Single Bed (3 persons. Bedding and linen supplied) or 4 single beds configuration (4 persons) - $120.00 per night.

BOOKING ESSENTIAL

Should you need to explore further than the gates 5km past the main campground, there is a one off charge of $35.00 per vehicle.

For this you will get a garbage bag and a key for the gates and you may then go anywhere on Lorella.

Upon returning your garbage and your key, a $10 refund will be given.

All Animal and Birdlife are protected and there is a very strict "NO SHOOTING " policy.

The firing mechanism of all firearms must be left at homestead safe for all unescorted visitors going past the gated area. 

Please treat Lorella with the greatest respect.

When setting your itinerary. It would be wise to add at least an extra few days for your stay at Lorella Springs, as there is so much for you to see and do.

A few new items to tell you about are the opening up of previously untouched areas such as Wildfire Gorge, Crystal Springs, Billabong Drive, Flying Fox Swamp, the verrry hot "Nudie Springs", unexplored swamps, lakes, and creeks just bubbling teaming bursting with wildlife, and new tracks to different parts of Lorella and the 20 kilometres of Carpentaria Coast that no one has ever driven to before.

You may love Lorella so much that you want to spend a whole season here. Season pass available.

Prior Booking Highly Recommended. 

Although we reserve some campsites for weary passing travellers, to keep the Exclusivity and the Eco Wilderness feeling of this Way Outback Sanctuary, we try to limit the amount of campers and caravans.

All safari guiding $500 first person plus $150 per person per day. Overnight safari guiding $650 first person plus $250 per person. (All inclusive) Minimum 2 Persons. 

Please note that all of Lorella is a Wilderness Retreat Sanctuary, and apart from what is to be eaten that day, everything is "catch and release unharmed". 

Very limited escorted hunting tours can be arranged, but only for environmentally nuisance feral animals.

Booking in advance is not essential for the main campground but suggested where larger numbers are in your group, as fuel, food, accommodation and tours are required.

Please Note: Much of Lorella and its coastline is untouched and approx 80 km or more from the homestead and can only be reached by EXTREME 4WD Driving by highly prepared and experienced drivers. People leaving main campground area must have prior 4WD driving skills and excellent bush understanding.
